Styles
The right style depends on the window, the room, and how much privacy or light control matters. These cover the usual choices — confirmed on the free survey.

A single run of panels covering the window from frame to sill. Louvres tilt together so light and privacy stay consistent across the opening. Suits casements, sashes and many bays.
Best for · Living rooms, bedrooms, most window types
Split tilt can separate upper and lower louvre control.

Panels on the lower part of the window, with the top left clear. Height is set from the outside sight line so you keep daylight without giving up privacy on the street.
Best for · Street-facing ground-floor rooms
Uses less shutter than full height, so the price follows.

Separate upper and lower panels, each opening and tilting on its own. Made for tall sash and bay windows. Open the top for light while the bottom stays closed.
Best for · Tall sashes, bay windows, rooms that change through the day
Around 10% more than equivalent full-height, because each tier has its own hinges.

Each bay face and angle is measured individually. Panel layout is planned around the reveal, handles and how the panels swing, so nothing fouls when it opens.
Best for · Square, angled and curved bays
Full height, café or tier-on-tier — chosen once the bay geometry is confirmed.

For patio doors, sliders and other wide openings where hinged panels would be impractical. Panels stack to one side or split both ways. The external door keeps the weather seal.
Best for · Patio doors, wide glazed openings
A bottom guide is confirmed at survey where needed.

A tracked setup for bifold door openings. Panels slide and fold back along a track, with the stack planned around the door leaves so you can still walk through every day.
Best for · Bifold doors, kitchen extensions
Also suits patio sliders and other non-bifold glazing.

Solid panels instead of louvres, for a flush architectural look. Most often specified for bedrooms. Solid lower panels can be combined with louvred uppers.
Best for · Bedrooms, rooms that need to go dark

Custom-built to the measured opening. Frame shape, louvre operation and material are confirmed before anything is ordered, so the original window keeps its character.
Best for · Arched, circular and triangular windows
More complex to fabricate. Available in selected materials.
